Native POP: People of the Plains art market and cultural celebration of the Great Plains Tribes invites you to share your artistry in Rapid City, South Dakota - JUNE 28 - 30 OF 2024 FOR OUR PHENOMENAL art market! So be sure to join in the celebration!
Native POP reinterprets the traditional art market and recognizes the historic cultural value of Native artists. Our art market reflects the cultures of the Great Plains and the functional role of art, and we embrace all forms of creativity. Almost 50 artists shared their work with thousands of people at last year’s event, and we are excited to see the talent this year will bring!
2024 VISUAL ARTIST APPLICATION
In accordance with the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990, participation in the Native POP art show is only open to enrolled members of federally recognized tribes, with preference given to artists from Great Plains Tribes.
Application opens APRIL 2024. Deadline Extended May 12, 2024)
Selected applicants will be notified by mid-May.
Booth fee for space due JUNE 01, 2024.
Lunch and water provided for the artist each day.
No commission will be taken of your sales.
Artistic categories listed below have been reinterpreted to reflect the cultures of the Great Plains and the way art functions for the people.
Friday night opening event 5:30pm - 8pm with juried awards.
Saturday Art Market: 9am - 4pm
Saturday evening: Fashion Show
Sunday Art Market: 9am - 4pm
